Mental Health Screenings
We screen for anxiety, depression, PTSD, post partum depression and many others. We provide referrals to mental health counselors and write for prescription medications if necessary.
Blood Pressure Management
We screen for high blood pressure, discuss lifestyle modifications, and treat with medication when necessary.
Lab & Bloodwork Orders
We collaborate with local laboratories or send kits to your home for prompt and convenient lab work. Our provider will review the results and discuss them with you in a follow up consultation.
Cholesterol Management
We screen yearly for high cholesterol and discuss various lifestyle interventions or prescribe medication if necessary. We work closely with you to treat you according to your needs and preferences.
Diabetes Management
We screen for diabetes to assess if you have diabetes or if you are at risk of developing it. We may order tests such as a fasting plasma glucose test, oral glucose tolerance test, random plasma glucose test, and a hemoglobin A1C test. If testing indicates that you either have diabetes or are at risk of developing it, we work with you to develop a plan of care according to your healthcare needs.

What is Virtual Urgent Care?
Virtual urgent care is a remote healthcare service that allows individuals to consult with an experienced medical provider through video calls, phone calls or online messaging to receive timely medical advice and treatment for non emergency issues.
How do I schedule an appointment ?
Click on any “Schedule Now” or “Make an Appointment Button” throughout this website. You will be directed a calendar to schedule your appointment.
Is Telehealth covered by insurance?
We currently do not accept insurance plans, medicaid or medicare. A flat $50 fee for urgent visits will be charged or $40 for a wellness visit or prescription refill. This fee does not include the cost of lab work or your prescriptions that you will pick up at a pharmacy or have sent to your home. If requested a super bill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
When do I pay for my service ?
Your payment will be due the day of your appointment. An invoice will be sent to your email or to your phone via text. Your appointment will not be completed until payment is remitted.
What payment methods do you accept ?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, HSA or FSA.
Can I receive prescriptions through a virtual visit?
Our provider is licensed to prescribe clinically appropriate medications based on the diagnosed condition. We do not offer prescriptions for pain medications or narcotics. If your treatment plan requires a prescribed medication, the medication will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice or mailed to your home if available and appropriate. The patient is responsible for any costs related to prescriptions, over-the counter treatments or necessary follow up visits.
What do I need to have handy for a virtual visit?
A virtual urgent care visit or well visit is easy with Origen Healthcare. You will be sent an email with an online health assessment to provide details about how you are feeling. You will also be provided links to consent forms that will need to be completed before your appointment. You will need a smart phone, tablet, or computer to complete your visit. Some other devices are crucial to accurate diagnosis via telehealth and can be purchased separately. These devices include smart scales, pulse oximeters, digital blood pressure machines, glucometers, thermometers, or otoscopic cameras. Ask your provider where you can get these. If you don’t have these for your first visit, don’t worry! We will work through it together.
